Welcome to the Beach!

We are pleased to welcome you to Taylor Coastal Water & Sewer District. Below you will find the documents and information needed to begin the process of establishing water and/or sewer service for your property.

New Customer Documents

Please review the documents below. The Rules & Regulations, Grinder Pump Steps, and Grinder Pump Instructions should be retained for your records.

What You Need to Return

To begin your service installation, please provide the District Office with:

  • Completed Utility Agreement
  • Completed Utility Easement
  • Copy of your property deed
  • Required payment

Planning Your Grinder Pump Location

A blank lot diagram is provided so you can begin planning your installation. The grinder pump must be located no closer than 10 feet from each side property line and 10 feet from the front property line.

The Field Supervisor is available to meet with you to discuss concerns and assist with determining an appropriate location for your equipment.

Service Installation Fees

Sewer Service

$6,000.00

Includes installation of the grinder pump.

Water Service

$1,000.00

Includes installation of the water meter.

The District Office will research your property before providing the final amount due. This allows us to verify whether previous deposits should be credited and identify any applicable fees or liens associated with the property.

Installation Process

Once electrical service has been installed and the power is turned on by Tri-County Electric, please contact the District Office so we can begin coordinating your installation.

  1. Notify the District Office when electrical service is active.
  2. District staff will coordinate with the Field Staff’s schedule.
  3. The District will notify 811 before excavation begins.
  4. Your installation will be scheduled when the required preparations are complete.

Please keep in mind that installation schedules may be affected by weather and tidal conditions. We will work to complete your installation as soon as conditions and scheduling allow.
